Commercial Lighting Manager – Brockton

Columbia Electric is seeking a Lighting Specialist with 10+ years of diverse lighting experience to manage it’s commercial lighting department. Qualified candidates must have the ability read and interpret plans and specifications for quotation purposes, extensive design build experience as well as a proven track record in developing relationships and working with multiple vendors. Additionally, candidates should possess experience within an electrical wholesale environment including but not limited to contractors. An undergraduate or associates degree is a plus.

Columbia Electric is seeking an experienced, senior salesperson responsible for the effective development and management of assigned customers and new accounts within the metro Boston territory. Duties may include preparing sales forecasts and gross margin goals for each assigned customers and prospects; finding, qualifying, determining buying influences, and selling to new accounts. Qualified candidates must have the ability to make sales calls and implement sales development plans for each assigned customer and prospect. Seeking candidates with a can do approach to aggressively follow-up with customers for new and/or existing quotations as well as for all specials and promotions.

Excellent electrical distribution and product knowledge experience with a proven track record as a salesperson is required. Additionally, computer expertise and technical knowledge is also preferred.

We are seeking a qualified candidate to be responsible for generating and maintaining sales for small, medium and large switchgear projects from the inception of an order until the end. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience with proven negotiating skills as well as a proven track record as a successful salesperson including building positive relationships with all customers. Additionally, candidates will need to be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work well with all levels of employees within the organization.
